God Is Faithful.

1 Corinthians 1:9 "God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord."

In life, we will find many things change.

People change.

Feelings change.

Circumstances change.

But there is one great truth that has never changed.

God is Faithful!

I was reading my Bible before work Friday when I came across this verse in 1 Corinthians. I find this particular verse wonderful because it shows us a wonderful truth. The reason we can have fellowship with Christ is because he was first faithful to us.

The message of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation is this, God is faithful.

A. Adam and Eve

After Adam and Eve sinned, they hid from God. Yet God came looking for them because God is faithful.

B. Noah

The world was destroyed by the Flood. But God remembered Noah. Why? Because God is faithful.

 C. Israel in Egypt

For over 400 years Israel suffered. So God sent Moses. Eventually God delivered them exactly as He promised because He is faithful.

 D. The Promised Land

God brought the children of Israel out of slavery and into Canaan. He never forgot them because God is faithful!

E. Jericho

The walls of Jericho stood in the way, but God gave Israel the victory exactly as He promised. Why? Because God is faithful.

F. David and Goliath

A young shepherd stood before a giant with only a sling and five stones. God gave David the victory because God is faithful.

G. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego

Three Hebrew men refused to bow to the golden image. They were thrown into the fiery furnace, but God protected them because God is faithful.

H. Daniel

Daniel was cast into the lions' den because he refused to stop praying. But God shut the lions' mouths and delivered Daniel because God is faithful.

I. Jesus Christ

God promised a Savior from the very beginning. Soon, Jesus was born of a virgin just as God had promised because God is faithful.

J. The Cross and the Resurrection

Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. God fulfilled His promise of salvation because God is faithful.

K. Christ's Return

Jesus promised, "I will come again." One day He will return just as He said. Why? Because God is faithful.

What a wonderful truth to consider! The fact that such a great God would be so faithful to the world.

Today, no matter what your facing, realize God will be faithful to you.

No matter the problem, obstacle, or difficulty in your life, God will take care of you.

Whether your sad or joyful.

Whether your struggling with sin or having victory.

Whether your going through a mountain or a valley.

Carry this truth with you.

 God is faithful!

If you can, sing this hymn to yourself before you continue the rest of your day.

Pardon for sin and A peace that endureth Thine own dear presence To cheer and to guide; Strength for today and Bright hope for tomorrow, Blessings all mine, With ten thousand beside! Chorus Great is Thy faithfulness! Great is Thy faithfulness! Morning by morning New mercies I see. All I have needed Thy hand hath provided; Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!
