What's Next? (Update For The Silas Zone)
Today's blog post is going to be rather unconventional because I will be sharing some random things that are happening in my life having to do with my blog, the schoolyear, my book, and how my summer job is. I hope to give you a glimpse into what I'm doing beyond my normal blog posts.
Summer Job
Working three days a week for a landscaping business has been very good for me. I am able to work for All-Pro Lawn and Tree. It is run by a laymen in our church.
It has been grueling and tough with the heat, but the money plus the landscaping skills I have learned have been a blessing. The job has taught me a lot about work, getting up early, and getting out of my comfort zone. Over my senior year, I will still be able to work a little bit which is pretty neat.
Kids Church
Another wonderful blessing has been leading our kids church for ages 4-11. I have loved leading this ministry and excited for what God can do for this ministry in the future.
My Book
Well I have completed the first draft of my book, Study of Cults and False Religions! I'm in the editing phase right now and am looking forward when ya'll can read it on the release day. (August 24th) I have also been able to lead the adult Sunday school class for the month of July on false religions from the material found in my book.
My Senior Year
It's crazy to think that in August, I will be starting my senior year of high school. I have some really awesome Bible college classes to dual enroll in along with the rest of my school. My parents have also agreed upon me starting a professional graphic design college class. As someone that has a future career in the ministry, it is a great tool to know how to do some graphic design work for my church.
So yeah, I am pretty excited for the Lord has in store for my near future. As for blogging over the next week, I will be taking a pause on posts because I will be spending a few days with my grandparents!
