Ideas for Everyday Living.
Have you ever needed a cool idea to help you mentally break a habit or start a new one.
Have you ever needed some social advice about what people feel.
Have you ever needed a creative spark to help you make the right decision.
Today, I will be giving some practical ideas you can use in your everyday life.
1. This will make your siblings like you.
Do you know what people and especially those around you want to hear from you most. The biggest natural desire of human beings is..... Affirmation. Everyone, including you wants to hear a genuine heartfelt "I love you!" and a " I'm proud of you." or " Good Job!" And yet we do the opposite to the people we love the most. We become critical and negative towards them. This leaves the people around you feeling hurt and starving for affirmation. Affirmation helps people be confident in themselves and lets them feel they can do great things. If you have found that you and your siblings have been at odds, try this and expect a great relationship.
2. This tool will help you feel good at the end of a day.
Have a schedule. List everything you want to get done for that day and then out of sheer willpower, do it. Find something every day that is worthwhile and work at it. I have been writing a Baptist History book every night and you know what? When I go to bed, that projects helps me have a good feeling at the end of the day. The key is resting your head at night knowing you accomplished something that matters.
3. This social tip will help you be a conversation MASTER.
You know what people love a lot. I mean, a LOT. Themselves. And because of this, they want to talk about themselves and their interests. And being a conversation master involves you doing 2 things.
A. Find out their interests.
B. Ask and discuss with them their interests.
When you do this, they find the conversation more engaging and want to talk with you again.
4. This mindset will make you happy.
Have a mindset of positivity. Realize that you are blessed beyond measure. Happiness is a choice. Have a mindset that complaining and frustration is always a choice and it is one I will not make no matter what happens. Having a happy life means you won't let small things bother you. It means you will commit to stop getting frustrating over things that are stupid. Small people get frustrated at everything. Great people get over their negative attitude and choose to be happy.
5. This thought will help you be confident in who you are.
This last tip is simply to be content with how God created you. Some teenagers focus so much on their imperfections and don't stop and realize the great contentment and quality that is in you. You are Capable of great things. When you worry over what you are not, your strengths begin to rot.
