Big Announcement!

 Today I'm really excited to announce that I will be now leading the first half of kids church. I have been working in Kids Church for the past 3 and a half years and love it. I enjoy this ministry a lot and have learned so much. I have been able to lead many kids to the Lord and leaned a lot about leading a child Christ. I have also seen 5 kids graduate to the teen class that I'm in now.

 About 6 months ago, I was given the responsibility to create the schedule for this ministry. From there, the director (also my brother, Joshua) let me learn how to create games, and handle putting out all the candy and prizes. 

As of recently, my brother-in-law, AJ had been leading the first half for several years. But starting in the new year, he will be leading a teen church for those who ride the bus on Sunday morning. So from there, Josh decided to promote me to be able to lead the first half of Kids Church.

 now you may be wondering, "What do you mean by the first half of kids Church?"

The first half is a 45 minute time slot that I get to lead where the song service of the main service in church is happening. This is everything before the preaching in the main service. After I am done, the main director will come in and lead the rest of it.

Overall, I'm both nervous but excited. But most of all, I am really thankful to have the opportunity to serve the wonderful kids of VSIBC, and Jesus!
