Uplifting Evil Men.

 Proverbs 17:15 (KJV)

He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the Lord.

There is an issue that the world has placed upon us. An issue that is compromising our separation and our integrity in what we believe. It is the issue  of uplifting evil men. Now, what do I mean by that. I mean praising, talking good about, exalting, and uplifting men that are associated with the wickedness and sin of the world. Lifting high the evil men who should be condemned from our life and abhorred for the evil that they do.

Specifically I'm talking about wicked men and women in the world that compromising, apathetic Christians think is ok to uplift in word and deed.

People in our Movies:

1 Timothy 4:12 (KJV)

Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

Christian men and women need to have separation in the world in what they watch. If we would simply get some bible convictions in our life, this wouldn't be a problem.

There are some famous men in Hollywood that should not be exalted or uplifted in any way. Our Associations MATTER!

Men like Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Dwayne Johnson, Keanu Reeves are men that are wicked and known for sinful immoral films. Christians should not in any way be associated with this. These men are made famous because of their immoral, vile, wicked films. As a Christian, it is our responsibility to be separate from these and others.

2 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV)

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

In fact, the Lord goes farther then this and says this about the world.

 1 John 2:15 (KJV)

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Take Dwayne Johnson:

In some of his films and public appearances, Johnson has:

  • Mocked prayer, treating it as a joke or something only used when desperate.

  • Played scenes with demonic themes (The Scorpion King, Hercules) where spiritual darkness is mixed with humor and action.

  • Dwayne Johnson has publicly:

    • Supported LGBTQ+ pride events and messages.

    • Endorsed political figures who promote abortion and anti-Christian laws.

    • Used his platform to encourage followers to be “inclusive” in ways that reject Biblical morality.

    • In movies like "Black Adam", Johnson plays a false god-like being with powers over life and death, promoting a supernatural strength not from the Lord, but from man and mythology.

    • He is highly known for his immoral lifestyle and dirty mouth.

    • Has been quoted as calling Jesus a "homosexual nutcase that was autistic."

I could go on and on with all of these but you get the idea.

For me personally, I love Jesus, the Bible, and the old-time way.

Verse 1
In this modern new world we live in today,
Blood-bought believers are thought of as strange.
They say we’re living our lives in the past,
And without change and compromise, we will not last.
We’re set apart from the world and its ways,
I gave up that old life the day I was saved!

Chorus
I’ll take the old-time way; there’s not one thing I’d change!
I’ve got this far with Him, and with Him I’ll go all the way.
I’ll not back down, and I’ll not give in.
I’ve read the last chapter and I know who wins!
I’ll run the last mile of the race in the old-time way.
