Why I'm a Baptist

Good Morning. Today I would like to talk about why I'm a Baptist.

There are soooo many different religions and denominations. But only 1 can be the truth.

Denomination: A set of Beliefs to which a person or organization hold to.

That denominational title denotes that person's system of beliefs.

If I believe in:

a. Praying to Mary

b. Believe in Transubstantiation

c. Believe in Sprinkling

You would obviously guess I'm a Catholic.

If I believe in:

a. Joseph Smith's writings to be a special revelation.

b. When I die I get my own planet.

You would guess I'm a Mormon.

So then why Am I a Baptist?

Because I believe that the core doctrines of the Baptist Faith are everything Jesus believed.

We as Christians should follow the teachings of the Bible and Jesus Christ.

Anything that vary's from that standard should not be something we believe in.

here are the 11 Core Doctrines of the Baptist Faith.

1. The Bible is our sole authority in all manners of faith and practice.

2. Eternal Salvation by grace through Jesus Christ alone.

3. Baptism is the outward expression of our faith by immersion.

4. Baptism and the Lords Supper are the 2 church ordinances.

5. Church membership is for baptized believers.

6. The independence of the local church.

7. The trinity of The Holy Spirit, God the Son, and God the Father.

8. God was made manifest in the flesh.

9. The 2 church offices are the pastor and the deacon.

10. Separation of Lifestyle from the world.

11. Free-will of man.


So in review, above are the Baptist distinctives. 

Other religions may follow some of these but the Baptists are the only one to follow all.

These 11 doctrines are not just some made made-up rules, These are all backed up by the Bible.

And that is why I believe them.

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

    This is awesome! So thankful for our doctrines and beliefs that Christ clearly laid out in Scripture!

This is My family This is my Mom and Dad. I love spending time with them. My Dad is the one that led  me to the Lord. I appreciate all that they are to me. This Week!!! ( July 4th-12th)

It has been a really good week for me. For July 4th, our church had an activity with ice cream and some really good fireworks. I'm so thankful for our nation!!! Me and my mom were able to sell the last of our spring goats on Sunday! The Goat in the pic is Aurora. She is really pretty but I'm glad she is going to a new home. I have also been doing a bunch of work with my rabbit pens and scheduling out breeding which will start the end of August! My sister Callie recently started an Etsy shop selling unique earrings.  The ducks below are glow in the dark. We had our Good News at the Park today. it went really well and 58 from our church volunteered. I was also to help lead 2 teen guys to the lord as well with a friend. It is always a blessing to hear someone pray and accept Jesus into their heart! What I have Learned from the Rabbit Business.

If you don't know already, I love breeding and selling rabbits. It has been super fun and in today's post, I will be talking about some of the things I have learned from the rabbit business! 1. Pick the breed If you plan on breeding, raising, and selling rabbits, you first start off by picking which breed you want. Do loads of research to find the breed that best's fit your area, cage space and colors. I chose Holland lops. They are relatively smaller and are the most docile rabbit breed out there. There is a good market in North Florida and they work for my set-up. 2. Buy Supplies Next go to your local Rural King and buy all the rabbit supplies. You want to find a bag of grain, timothy hay and a pet water bottle. Also think about buying food dishes, brush, and treats. You can find cages on Facebook Marketplace or just buy a wire cage at the store. I have connected wire cages that are hanged from the roof using heavy-duty wire.
